The MaxBlend 2 helps clinicians who want to prioritize patient safety and streamline patient care when delivering oxygen to patients by integrating a FiO2 monitor, airoxygen blender, and flowmeter into a single device.
The monitor provides high and low alarm limits which, when exceeded, cause an audible and visual alarm.
THE GAS BLENDER IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE A CONTINUOUS AIR/OXYGEN GAS MIXTURE AND TO CONTINUOUSLY MONITOR THE CONCENTRATION OF O2 DELIVERED.
All our circuits are phosphorilcoline coated.
Phosphorylcoline is the predominant lipid headgroup found within the outer layer of cell membranes.
Phosphorylcoline has a natural affinity for water and binds water tightly around itself.
Reduces platelet consumption remarkably (1)
Is suitable for patients with acute HIT (Heparine Induced Thrombocytopenia) (2)
Alkaline chains spread across the surface yielding a stable coating through hydrophobic interactions
Layer of hydration around pc with a coated substrate the blood therefore “sees” a layer of water
Zwitterionic pc groups expressed outwards from the surface
The pump is available both in Adult/Paediatric and Newborn configurations and is characterized by an impeller’s contact-free environment that ensures:
Optimal flow dynamics
Minimal friction and shear stress
Minimized hemolysis
Reduced blood stagnation areas
The circuits for ECMO come completely pre-connected and assembled in a kit.
OXY AND PUMP ARE LOCATED ON A DEDICATED BRACKET ENSURING:
Easy and quick disposable set up
Minimized encumbrance
Clear view of circuits integrity

Extracorporeal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (ECPR) is an advanced resuscitation technique used in cases of cardiac arrest, particularly when conventional CPR is ineffective.
ECPR is typically indicated for patients with refractory cardiac arrest and can significantly improve survival rates and neurological outcomes compared to conventional CPR.
Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP) is a medical technique primarily used in organ donation after circulatory death (DCD) to preserve and assess organs before transplantation.
NRP significantly reduces ischemic injury, preserves organ functionality, and improves transplant outcomes. It has been shown to increase the number of viable organs retrieved from DCD donors.
Catheterization Laboratory (Cath-Lab) Common Procedures in a Cath-Lab where ECLS can be used are:
ADULT Up to 7 LPM
COMPLETE
Only one monitor for CPB and ECMO procedures
Tailored perfusion to optimize the ECC during cardiac surgery
Effective ECMO monitoring for optimal procedure control
VERSATILE
Suitable to any HLM
Suitable to any ECMO machine
Suitable to any PTS either in CPB and ECMO setting
INTUITIVE
Tailored parameters based on user’s profile for any customer needs
Large graphic interface for easier procedure management
Integrated DMS for a simple case data management
In pulmonary ECMO procedures, the O2 transfer and CO2 removal depend on a complex interaction between the Membrane Lung (ML), the Native Lung (NL) and the metabolic-hemodynamic pattern of the patient.
Monitoring the Membrane Lung is essential to understand the level of performance of gas exchange; while the Native Lung function in both gas exchange and mechanical properties must be assessed to understand the possibility and timing of VV-ECMO weaning.
Colibrì is the first ECLS transportable device with integrated Wi-Fi module that allows the connection to a dedicated Medical Tablet for:
Mirroring of all parameters measured by the device
Trending graphs of all parameters
List of alarm and device status
Dedicated Probes for monitoring of arterial and venous parameters, directly speaking with the Medical Tablet with 3 hours of autonomy and the possibility to be connected to a recharge station during use. Able to measure:
Measurement of Arterial saturation (SaO2) and Arterial Temperature (Tart) arterial side
Measurement of Venous saturation (SvO2), Venous Temperature (Tven), Hemoglobin (Hb) and Hematocrit (HCT) venous side
With the same Colibrì Medical tablet it is possible to visualize and perform wireless vascular and cardiac echo thanks to a dedicated WiFi probes and a dedicated application.
Clarius wireless ultrasound probes are ideal for vascular assessments and interventions to reduce complications and increase patency.
Automated vascular settings and enhanced needle visualization streamline imaging, while sensitive color Doppler and Pulsed Wave Doppler support timely diagnosis and patient management.
